Much like the spider’s web, the Spido series is designed to be light as well as strong. The Arktis blue dial is paired with a blue natural rubber or textile strap. With a similar movement to the SpidoSpeed (minus the chronograph) the Concepto movement has ceramic bearings and a very strong balance wheel to make it more shock resistant and well-suited to sports. The LW Rota in black complements the black crown and the back has an intricate Spido icon reminiscent of a spiderweb. This piece offers water resistance to a depth of 100 metres.

The SpidoLite series was first conceived to pursue adventure, following a Mount Everest expedition after which mountaineers requested something just as durable, but lighter. Thus was born the notion of a SpidoLite. The SpidoLite series has pursued weight reduction holistically, not simply by remaking the case in lighter materials but in reworking the case design to balance strength with lightness. Each SpidoLite seeks to find that balance, stripping away materials where a more efficient design can be found.
